What is a holistic health coach?
Health coaches work alongside their clients to help them follow through with their health and life goals, providing support, guidance, accountability, and encouragement along the way. Holistic health focuses on the whole person, addressing physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being. It emphasizes balance, promoting natural healing methods and lifestyle changes. This approach fosters sustainable change without extreme measures.
What are the benefits of coaching?
Coaches help their clients discover what they really want and create a plan and action steps to get them there, facilitating true, lasting transformation. It’s designed to deliver breakthroughs and results and supports you in becoming a happier, healthier and more present person. And who benefits in your life when you’re happier, healthier and more present?
Plus, by investing in ourselves, we’re encouraging ourselves to put in the work. We can’t do the same thing and expect different results. A coach provides accountability, support and a framework that gets you from where you are to where you want to be.
Difference between a coach and a therapist?
Therapists help their clients work through and resolve past issues and traumas, whereas coaches tend to focus more on the present and future. Therapists are often more focused on cognitions while coaches are more focused on behaviors. Of course, cognitions and behaviors are extremely intertwined, and as such therapists and coaches are often converging in their respective practices.
A coach’s main job is to help clients take results-oriented action to move from being stuck in their lives to being empowered and liberated. Coaches do not analyze, diagnose, or prescribe treatment.
Is coaching worth it?
Many of us who prioritize ourselves and our well-being last have a hard time investing in ourselves, especially when it’s a lot of money. In these cases, I like to ask, what is not getting unstuck or healthier costing you right now or down the road if you continue along your same path? What’s is it costing your health? Your relationships? Your productivity? Your finances?
Can I work with you remotely?
Deidre meets with her clients virtually or by phone for a set time over several months, acting as an unbiased observer and identifying any limiting beliefs. She helps clients overcome mindset challenges and master healthy habits through her Signature 90-day Intensive Program.
How do I know if coaching is for me?
The only way to know is to try it and that is why I offer a free consultation call so you can test it out. If it’s not for you, there is no obligation to continue.
